We received a letter at the last JIC (Joint Insurance Committee) meeting. Please see the letter below. BCBS is going to be requiring pre-authorization for many medications (listed within this letter), many of which our clients are on. Doctors have likely received this and are working with clients to address this issue, but it may be helpful for you to be aware as well, to help your clients be prepared for this change.
