How do I access the community area?

Members can log in to our community/social area through the website. This space allows you to ask for advice, share resources, vent, and offer support to other members facing similar professional challenges.  If you are not a member, you can join here.

We prioritize the well-being of our members by offering self-care resources, events, and tools. Our community emphasizes both self-care and community care, giving you the space and support to prioritize your health and well-being.

How do I stay informed about industry news and policy updates?

As a member, you’ll receive regular newsletters and communications that keep you updated on the biggest developments in clinical social work, including policy changes, new research, and opportunities in the field. We are, however, a volunteer organization and don’t have the resources to be on top of every single update in real time.

What kinds of events and trainings are offered?

We offer events and trainings that feature high-quality speakers and cover unique, relevant topics that are critical to the field of clinical social work. These sessions aim to inspire and equip you with the knowledge to advance your practice.

How do I choose the right membership for me?

Choose a membership based on your current career stage. If you're a practicing or teaching clinical social worker with an MSW, the Clinical/Full Member option is best. If you’ve recently graduated, the New Professional option is available. We also offer discounted memberships for retirees, associates, and students.

How can I apply for membership?

You can apply for membership by visiting the membership section on our website and selecting the option that best fits your current situation. The process is quick and easy, and you’ll gain access to a wealth of benefits upon joining.

Can I upgrade my membership if my career stage changes?

Yes, you can upgrade your membership if your career stage changes. Simply contact our membership services team, and they will assist you in adjusting your membership to better fit your new professional status.

What are the benefits of being a Student or Associate Member?

Student and Associate members still have access to our professional development resources, community area, and mentorship programs. These memberships are ideal for individuals looking to grow their knowledge of clinical social work and stay connected with the profession.
