Supervision

Supervision is a structured and supportive process designed to promote the professional development and competence of social workers. The requirements involve regular meetings between a supervisee and an experienced supervisor, who provides guidance, feedback, and support.

The Supervision Program is yet another benefit of Membership in the NCSCSW.

How Does The Program Work?

Our Supervision Program is designed to be flexible and tailored to meet the needs of both supervisees and supervisors. Here’s how it works:

  • Application Process
Interested supervisees and supervisors complete an application form outlining their goals, areas of expertise, and preferences.
  • Matching
We carefully match supervisees with supervisors based on their profiles to ensure a productive and supportive relationship.
  • Commitment
Supervisees and supervisors commit to regular supervision sessions, which can be conducted in person, via phone, or online.
  • Support and Resources
NCSCSW provides resources and support to help both parties make the most of their supervision relationship. This includes guidelines, training materials, and ongoing assistance from our program coordinators.
