  • Understand Key Legal and Business Structures for Private Practice:
Clinicians will learn what to look out for when navigating partnership agreements, leases, staff hiring (including NDA and confidentiality agreements), and client engagement strategies with a focus on arbitration.
  • Develop Tax and Financial Planning Strategies for Risk Management:
Clinicians will explore some tax-favored plans (401-k, deferred compensation, defined benefits), understand general insurance coverage options (premises and professional liability), and some incorporate estate planning tips to minimize risk exposure.
  • Prepare for Personal and Professional Contingencies:
Clinicians will be provided with practice pointers to plan for critical events such as death, disability, divorce, remarriage, or partner exits, with practical checklists and steps for business and personal estate planning.
